BKNJ Review Bloodshot

Again, a film based on a comic this writer hasn’t read. Basically combine all the cliché, meta, self-awareness of the genre, and insert Vin Diesel.

Still the filmmaking is superb, the acting is believable, the chick is super hot (KT) and Guy Pearce is in the cast. It should be pointed out that Pearce played the protagonist is the similarly conceptual “Memento”(2000), which is cool.

Nothing about this film feels quite right but yet, it might be the most believable concept piece from the last decade.

As the industry branches out into small-budget artsy stuff and big-budget masterpieces, the latter will have to continue to innovate to grasps viewers' attention. Bloodshot does a very great job of this.
